E49: How do leaders REALLY show they care?
Wednesday Apr 15, 2020
Wednesday Apr 15, 2020
I read a quote from Simon Sinek that talked about caring leaders getting the most out of their people. From that, I was thinking about all that goes into the word "caring" and how we often think of caring as simply meeting the immediate, physical needs of a team member. The truth is, the hardest thing about being a leader is doing those things that truly show that you care. Today, we dive into a few of those areas of leadership.

E40: How perceptions can overwhelm our reality... and what to do about it.
Friday Mar 06, 2020
Friday Mar 06, 2020
Our perception can truly become our reality. In some cases, this can take us, or our colleagues, down a road of negativity if we are not careful. Our perception can turn the smallest things into major wedges driven between us and co-workers or bosses or even in our personal lives. Today, I talk about how that happens, share some stories, and give you the steps to overcome the issue. If you enjoy the episode, be sure to subscribe and share!
